C&J’s engagement session last year at the Ice Castles was one of my favourites, and their St. Joachim Church Wedding was a highlight of this summer! This is one of the oldest churches in Edmonton, and arguably one of the most beautiful. C&J opted for a classic look for their wedding, and had an amazing team of vendors assembled to create a stunning wedding. The first wedding of their post is one of my favourites…any guesses how it was photographed?
Jose is a big sports fan, and we stopped by the Ice District for some of the photos…does that give you any clues? I’ll give you a hint…it’s one of the greatest photos I’ve ever taken. It’s taken…through Wayne Gretzky’s legs!! I love looking at my surroundings in weird and different ways. We also took some ‘normal’ photos of J and his boys with the statue, but I couldn’t help but use it in an unexpected way as well.
Special shout out to my table from the reception – lots of fun friends with stories about C&J! At the end of the meal they did a critique (inside joke) and it was absolutely hilarious. Every wedding is a new adventure – I feel so lucky to be a part of them.
