E&T had their dream Edmonton Streetcar Wedding this past fall. The High Level Bride Streetcar is an attraction in Edmonton that I’ve enjoyed several times with my kids, but this is the first time I’d had the pleasure of being a part of a wedding on it! For anyone who hasn’t ridden the street car, it is a piece of Edmonton’s history that is not to be missed.
We first enjoyed the fall colours in Mill Creek Ravine for E&T’s wedding photos prior to their ceremony. I know a few prime spots down in the river valley and I love exploring with my couples. Next we met their families in Old Strathcona and finally boarded the streetcar for the ceremony! The streetcar holds a limited number of people, so every single person present was chosen very specifically to celebrate with them, and they were able to very intimately enjoy the ceremony. A special part of E&T’s ceremony was passing their wedding rings to each guest to bless before exchanging them. It was really lovely.
