J & R’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular. I’m not sure how to adequately describe how fun each every event was! If you’ve ever been to a Sikh wedding you know that they are chaotic, colourful, loud, and joyous. From the first party to the end of the reception, J & R had BIG smiles on their faces as did all of their guests. Their wedding was centered around a love of family, and the joining of their two families in a very happy union. Each year I am so fortunate to connect with my couples and their families, and J & R’s families both welcomed me in with wide open arms, and by the end of the week I was truly sad that I had to say goodbye to everyone. Luckily I was able to connect with them again this past fall for some family photos, and I’ll be seeing them again at one of the groomsman’s weddings next year! (Watch out for the character in the ski mask…that’s sure to be a good party too lol…). The photo above was taken just before their reception and is easily one of my favourites of 2016. J’s dress was custom designed by her incredibly talented sister, and between the rain and a pop of light, and the look of love between the two…I’m pretty sure I squealed the second I shot it. I can’t thank J & R enough for being adventurous, fun, and as obsessed with photos as I am!!
