Ever since their engagement session last spring, I’ve been extra excited for K & G’s Grand Prairie wedding! They were so gorgeous, so easy going, such an absolute pleasure to photograph. We had a blast! Their wedding day was just the same. Everyone was so happy and relaxed, and these two truly enjoyed their day. Any party that has the grandmas on the dance floor is excellent in my book!
As a very personal touch, we stopped in at Ramona’s Pizza, which is G’s family restaurant! The gorgeous bar and front entry were perfect for photos – and the pizza was very enticing. Over the years I’ve had lots of discussions with photographers about the professionalism of drinking while on the job. I’ll say this…when the groom is the one handing you a glass of pinot grigio from his own restaurant….you enjoy! I adore K, G, and their very well behaved son, and I can’t wait for our next chance to shoot together!
Christina and I had an amazing road trip to Grande Prairie (my first time there!) – we were treated to an epic sunset and the most amazing field of canola.
